Job Description
Technical Support Engineer
In this position, you will provide telephone support to assist customers and PTC field staff with the installation, use, and customization of indchill Workgroup Managers and ProductView.
Responsibilities include:
Research customer issues by working with multiple software packages as well as other PTC departments.
Develop expert communication skills and a technical understanding for both Windows and UNIX Operating Systems, a variety of CAD and data management products, and internet technologies.
Ideal Candidates will possess the following:
Strong computer skills,experience with CAD, exposure to UNIX and Windows .
Degree in Mechanical Engineering,Computer Science or similar field.
Preferably, candidates will also have some experience and/or exposure to Java.
Knowledge of network security (firewalls, SSL, etc.) is a plus.
