Job Description
Officer-Payroll
To ensure payrolls are processed accurately and according to strict weekly deadlines for an allocated number of amendments .
To ensure all payroll amendments processed comply with statutory legislation and company policy.
To ensure all payroll queries are resolved accurately and within agreed timescales through phones, e-mails.
To support new Officers within the team for up to 2 years by providing advice, guidance and expertise.
To support and advise Personnel in new and seasonal payroll procedures to minimize impact and errors.
To assist in identifying impacts on payroll and developing procedures when there are changes to pay, policy and legislation.
Would be expected to communicate clearly with the internal customers in a clear & effective manner.
Ensure all the reports are prepared and forwarded to the concerned team accurately and on time.
Additionally handles specific assignments or projects in other areas such as Quality, MIS, Training etc.
