Job Description
Software Engineer/Sr. Software Engineer
Understand existing regressions suites, convert them to automation suites.
Understand regression/automation suites failures, identify & fix bugs early in release.
Work with different stakeholders in development, test/release teams to fix and validate the issues found.
For leads, experience leading QA projects is a plus.
Track and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery and meet all the deadlines.
Innovate and strive for adherence to established quality standards and processes.
Required:
Demonstrate proficiency in networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing) and Network security (VPN, SSL/TLS, SSL VPN, Firewall, NAT)
Proficiency on application level protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, SMTP).
Proficiency in one or more automation/scripting languages preferably Perl, Selenium RC.
Ability to conceptualize and develop Automation test frameworks and test-suites.
Ability to rapidly prototype a concept and implement change requests quickly.
Experience on Web-test automation on latest IE, Firefox & safari on Windows, Linux & Apple OS.
System-under-test verification experience on platforms like Mobile clients (Apple, Android) and Desktop OS (Windows &Linux).
Worked on version controls like cvs/svn.
